Review SÜLZLE Cup

Exactly 12 weeks ago, the company and authority tournament took place in Balingen. A team from SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION was there for the first time and thus also the first international team ever in the tournament. Therefore, we wanted to know how the players from France fared on tournament day and what they thought of the Cup:

“The SÜLZLE Cup took place on Sunday, 24 July 2022. Since we travelled from far away, the organisers had made sure that we could play our first match at 11 a.m. so that we wouldn’t have to leave in the early hours of the morning. So we met up with the team members in Drulingen and left at 7:30 am. After almost three hours of driving, we arrived in Balingen. The organisers and some members of the SÜLZLE team gave us a warm welcome and we received a great set of 11 SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION jerseys. Dressed in the white/blue corporate colours, all omens were positive. We were the only French team in the competition.
The level of some of the teams in the tournament was very high and the matches went off without a hitch thanks to the good organisation of the event. We were lucky enough to be strongly cheered on by our German colleagues as well as Heinrich and Andreas Sülzle.
Unfortunately, we narrowly failed to qualify for the final round, with a record of 2 wins, 2 draws and only one narrow defeat. Luckily there was a bar and snacks available to cheer us up.
The day went off in a great mood – fun and competition were combined. We thank the organisers for their hospitality, the TSG Balingen club for the infrastructure and look forward to next year when we can experience another day of fun and exchange.”
