An architectural landmark rises
SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION supplies mesh panels
A new architectural landmark is currently rising in the heart of Paris: the Tour Triangle in the 15th arrondissement. With a planned height of 180 metres and 44 floors, the building will be the third tallest tower in the French capital once completed – only Montparnasse and the Eiffel Tower are taller. It is scheduled to open at the end of 2026.
As part of this major project led by the construction company BESIX (Belgium), SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION from Drulingen (67320) is supplying its customer B&G Armatures with reinforcing steel mesh that meets the construction site requirements.
Belgian storage meshes (B524A, B754A, etc.) were used for the ceiling structures, as well as special meshes up to four metres long for the walls. A total of around 1,020 tonnes of steel meshes have been transported from Drulingen to Paris to date. Only a few truckloads are still needed before the foundation work will be completed by the end of this year.
A particular challenge in logistics was the strict schedule: all deliveries had to arrive at the construction site punctually at seven o’clock in the morning – a requirement that the SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION team mastered with precision and reliability. This was made possible by close cooperation between all departments: Production welded numerous grid elements within a few days to meet the tight schedules, while ADV and Logistics, together with their partner B&G Armatures, ensured seamless tracking.
The result: smooth operations on a construction site that has currently progressed to the 36th floor, and a satisfied customer. SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION is proud to contribute to the creation of a new Parisian landmark with its expertise, flexibility and adherence to deadlines.
