To overcome the economic consequences of the health crisis and mitigate its impact, the French government launched the “France Relance” investment plan more than a year ago to revitalize the economy.

The “France Relance” investment plan consists of three pillars: Competitiveness, Social Cohesion and Environmental Transition. A total of 16 companies from Grand Est region were able to benefit from the program. The support includes a total of almost 750 million euros to invest, modernize or implement a development project. SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION is one of the four companies from the Saverne region to benefit from the measure.

The Prefect of the Département Bas-Rhin, the Grand Est region bordering Germany, Josiane Chevalier presented the “France Relance” trophy to Olivier Schmitt, Managing Director of SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION, at the Hôtel Préfectoral in Strasbourg on November 25.

The specialist in reinforcing steel, list meshes and tubbings, based in Drulingen in eastern France, has also been a carbon-neutral company since 2021 and is one of the first companies in its sector to offer the option of purchasing CO2-neutral reinforcing steel. “To achieve this goal, we determined our carbon footprint. Wherever possible, we have reduced it directly, including by investing in new, more energy-efficient machinery,” says Olivier Schmitt. In addition, large areas of the production halls are currently being modernized with sustainable construction measures. Among other things, to improve working conditions and expand our range of services. Since 2016, Société Nouvelle SOTRALENTZ CONSTRUCTION S.A.R.L. has been part of the German SÜLZLE GROUP, whose operational sites are already fully climate-neutral.
